Winter Refit: Enhancing Performance
This past winter, i3 Composites undertook a significant refit project for the Mini Maxi racing yacht, Belle Mente. Our team manufactured and installed a new ballast tank system, a critical modification aimed at enhancing the yacht’s performance in competitive racing. This major upgrade was the most substantial winter refit project we completed for the 2023/24 season.
Success on the Water
Seeing the modifications we made contribute to Belle Mente’s victory is incredibly rewarding. Competing against a fleet of around 25 vessels, Belle Mente’s success highlights the effectiveness of our engineering solutions and the meticulous work of our team. It’s a proud moment for us at i3 Composites, knowing that our efforts have helped propel this remarkable yacht to the top of the podium.
Celebrating Jethou’s Achievement
We would also like to extend our congratulations to Jethou for their impressive second-place finish. Jethou has been a long-standing client of i3 Composites, and we have cherished our collaboration with them over the years. Although the team relocated their base to the south of France last year, we continue to celebrate their achievements and wish them ongoing success.
